    insurance up...

    just renewed me bike insurance.. after i told them got a end can fitted!!

    was £142.48.... now £146.33 with me 6 yncb.. not bad only £4 i suppose

    That seems very good and £4 extra is definitely worth it

    Sounds like a bargain.

    My insurance weren't interested in any extras, they just told me that anything non orginal wouldn't be covered.

    covered ?

    i thought the £4 extra was them penalising me for having a non standard end can ?

    I had to declare them on my policy... i think they are usually covered ... if you have told them and it does not say otherwise in the policy.

    Mandy i know I'm hard work sometimes... but are you saying that my end can is covered against lost/ stolen/ or broken, or is it that if i did not tell them that i had fitted one, my insurance would become null-in-void for not telling them ?

    I think its covered cos you told them, but i am not 100% sure on that.
