yes optic cable is supposed to be best and the fastest... but NTL keep twating about with the network.. something to do with pirate boxers.. each time they send a spike down the line to knock them pirate boxers out.. they bugger up my Internet un tv.. and have just found out today that they are now going to charge 25p a minute to phone them up to complain about tv & Internet disruption
well if they do.. I'll just cancel the DD.. and rip the lot out and go elsewhere

That is absolutely crap... I cant complain about BT (touch wood).. bit expensive but overall reliable.

yer.. remember the last time.. phoned the help line.. got this foreigner on "India" i think.. had a chat as you do.. then the bugger put me on hold...
15 minutes i was on hold.. then the phone went dead.. so phoned back.. this time i said if you put me on hold or the line gos dead.. I'm stopping the DD and going to pull the lot out and you can send your engineer to pick your stuff up on the street.. cause that's where he'll find it (i had a pulse that night) just like magic 10 minutes all was back on.. just needed to reboot me set box..
still don't get why we need to phone India to solve a problem in UK ?
