=12th TPK & ARD - no mileage recorded.
The two teams that failed to record a mileage were due to infringment of the stricly monitored rules.
ARD were unlucky to suffer a total failure of their bike and GLC were kind enough to provide a spare bike for them to run.
However, the bike did not have leg guards in place and the speedo was fitted to the rear wheel. At the end of the race the speedo had been damaged.
TPK also failed to have their leg guards fitted throughout the race, and although their speedo did record a distance, the bike was not running under it's own power at the end of the four hours (carb. problems)
