You can add this event to the Calendar.

People attending can add their names to the event, and also subscribe to event reminders.

Once it's in there, it'll appear on the 'Upcoming Event's on the front page too.

Yep, it's showing up on the main page in 'upcoming events' - top right.

Anybody clicking on that can click on 'I'm attending' and their name will be added to the list at the bottom.

have posted on MCN were I'm going to be "HERE".. and told them that the run will be posted here just hope they can read it and follow over here..

I saw your post on MCN. So hopefully they'll find you.

But I think the threads over there aren't being bumped back up when a new reply gets added, so it might vanish off the page before long.

Oh well, there's not a lot more you can do.

but the run was quite popular with the board members.. i know a few that will not be happy that it's disappeared into the abyss.. some of them was watching it and was going to post on it nearer the time so that they could attend... like you say not a lot i can do now.. on a good note most know when and were.... lets see what develops.
