    Evening Folks..

Had me a nice wet day at work Today..

it's been raining since 07.00 Here Today.. Mind it did stop around 15.00 so i went home and took Dog out.. we did get back Before it started again (just Mind)..

Got me a new pal at work.. a racing pigeon Have called it ( Malc ).. got a phone call.. (can you come get this bird off shop floor) it's causing a disturbance with the factory workers... it just walked in.. so took it out and let it go.. But the Bugger came back in later.. so i fed it some bread and let it stay in the factory over night ... the morning shift shoved it out the next Day.... when i got to work it was wondering around the yard.. so i left it alone.. it would be safe there.. but in the after noon it was wondering out side the gates on the road.. The girls off the morning shift asked me to do something about it as the kids will be coming home from school soon !!!

so i cornered it in reception and picked it up and took it around the back of the works and placed it in the disused warehouse (where the other pigeons roost) gave food & water and left it....
(yesterday).. the next morning i took some bird seed in with me..

not expecting (Malc) to be there..

well he was.. you should have seen him tuck into the seed & water even took some from my hand.. (i know i shouldn't feed the poor bugger) but without my help he'd be dead now !!
today when i went into the warehouse he was up in the roof.. so i just left the seed & water.. and had a look in later to see him tucking into his food.. from a distance...

(must ween him from Human contact...)

before i left i had another look in on him..
he is sat up in the roof with another pigeon..

hopefully the other pigeons will show him how to fend for himself... and stay away from none friendly Humans..

on a good note.. least he is strong enough to get off the floor now!!

Racing pigeon eh, should get in touch with the racing pigeons federation with Ring numbers, possible was someones prize bird' and if said pigeon had not been very active for a few days then its possible it was dying anyway.
    Hi T

yes a pigeon who walks every were and shows no fear of man/woman is going to get into trouble or dead.. and if he knows whats best for him he'll not go home ether.. was going to phone up the racing pigeon club.. and give the ring number's on his legs.. but remembered that they NECK!! them for not getting home..

it's obvious that this pigeon was to tiered and to weak to get home.. I'll just keep feeding & watering him till he no longer needs my help..

mind if the boss finds out what i've been up to... he'll chew my nuts off
Von says they get killed if returned, unless they are very good birds then they may get used for breeding only
