well... the rain started at 07.45 and stopped around 12.30.. at one point i thought they would stop the event... the west park was water logged and the floats were diverted to a road adjacent to the park.. where i took the 2 photos.... i must say the weather was rotten.. but the public came out in the hundreds so it wasn't a total disaster!

Just looked at the piccies.. the float looked very pretty... and at least it was covered so one hell of a lot drier that an open top lorry !

i to have been busy with the prepping of the shunt motor this past 2 months tarting it up... it was the oldest truck on the procession..
