Thanks s1opp
How long you been running this then?
(I'm "Nitrobusa", but changed the name since I sold the bike)
Hi Nitro,
Is that your bike in the Avatar? Looks like a Katana. Does it suffer from carb icing?
The original Sparkys started in 2001, but after a few years outgrew it's home so I moved it all here in 2004.
It's mostly been used for hosting the C90 racing gallery and forums, but recently it's getting more than it's fair share of visitors.

That is indeed a Katana - I'm building it for PB's "Special of the Year" competition - it's got a gixxer thou K4 front end, billet yokes, lightweight wheels, Yoshi tri-oval, 1135 EFE engine, radial master cylinder etc.
It doesn't suffer from carb icing, as I haven't put the carbs on it yet..................

The bike is in bits at the moment - for paint, powdercoating and anodising.
The image is a poorly photoshopped version of the final paintjob it's currently getting.

yes it's me........
I've recently returned from the Alps on an RF600 - there were quite a few corners there.
tragically, I saw the aforementioned corners and was forced to turn back.

Thank you David
You will no doubt have noticed one key element of specification missing from the photo above.
Lightweight, custom fabricated, billet alloy stepladders.
I have a rope one.. laddder that is :)

Are you that short Scottish bloke who never stopped talking? :spin:
For a 'bits-a-bike' that really does look pretty sweet.
Get it finished so we can see it for real.!! er, please.
