Ho Dear!!

Not looking good :(

Fri & sat... Heavy rain & storms... Bad news for GP & carnival

sun.. race day clowdy but not give out rain...

I hope you get a dry bit for the Carnival Von, its a shame when all their hard work goes to waste.

Von me ole mucker, the GP is next weekend, not this one...

However, I am going to pick up my new bike on Saturday and I don't want this pesky rain malarkey! Doh!

The weather forecast changes every 5 mins, so fingers crossed saturday will be fine :)

it can take up to 1 1/2 hours to do the procession... & cardboard & paper don't fair well in the rain :(

Hope it Don't turn out like the "Luton carnival" did last month.. they had to cancel it!! :(

a baptism in the wet on a new bike is the law QB!!

erm well not law!! but it seems each time i collect a bike... it rains on way home :(

i to have to go into work 06.00 start (shudder!!) do a bit, then around 8 ish nip Trailer over to let them do float...back to work finish off... have bite to eat.. back over to pick float up around 10.30... ready for the off.. :)

i'll try and blag some photos.. :)

well... the rain started at 07.45 and stopped around 12.30.. at one point i thought they would stop the event... the west park was water logged and the floats were diverted to a road adjacent to the park.. where i took the 2 photos.... i must say the weather was rotten.. but the public came out in the hundreds so it wasn't a total disaster!

reet time for a cuppa...

Just looked at the piccies.. the float looked very pretty... and at least it was covered so one hell of a lot drier that an open top lorry !

Ta Mand.. yes think the kids did well under the circumstances !! (weather)

i to have been busy with the prepping of the shunt motor this past 2 months tarting it up... it was the oldest truck on the procession.. :)
