Take the battery off and leave it on charge in the living room... or better still, keep the whole bike in the living room, then on those lonely cold winter nights you can sit with a tube of autosol and a rag polishing the brightwork.

Thanks bob

I'm trying to move it in now

Is it safe to run the engine in the house with all the doors and windows closed?

Safe?

Safer than the central heating.

You could of course, stop being gay and ride the thing.

I used to simply buy a brand new battery every spring for the 748.

Much easier.

tke battery off, bring it in doors and charge it, leave it on a shelf. recharge it every couple of months if it's still off. if tht fails, like archie said just buy one.

i have a few hundred quids worth of panel damage to the blade as a result of being too cheap to buy a new battery, never again.

Leave the battery on the bike, spray the bike with ACF50 to protect it from the salt and then ride the effin thing

Both good sentiments, but as I'm gayer than archie on a trip to brighton where the cold is concerned, it's unlikely
