I find them a tad too bulky for fine clutch & throttle control, does anyone have a ideas on how I can still control the bike correctly & have warm hands?

Take the car!!!
Try HG 3 finger pantera thingies. They still give plenty of feel and are the warmest winter gloves I've ever owned.
Silk inner Gloves
or for the genuine pikey look, a pair of marigolds (Trev)

Real bikers don't wear gloves. Ever. Or boots, helmets or leathers.
Anyone who does is a cissy.

Heated grips - but today was my last ride with summer gloves and the heating on 1; it'll be 2 from now on!

Is it true that BMW's have heated grips so the riders can wear lighter weight gloves, as the bulkier linings in winter gloves retain too much piss?
