I'm having a bit of a nightmare at the moment with Hotmail.

It appears non of the emails from Sparky Slider are getting to their destination if it's a hotmail address.

I'm trying to sort it out, but in the mean time anybody registering via hotmail wont get the confirmation email.

Something's broken - anybody new siging up with a hotmail.com email address won't get in.

Hotmail has been playing up for a couple of days though... well mine has.

hotmail.co.uk does seem to be working.

it's just the .com stuff that's being blocked.

yer!!... bet it has somert to do with the release of "vista" (the new XP)
prolly "mickymouse" (microsoft) wan'ts all the old passport holders (.com) to chainge to .co.uk ones..

Microshaft seem to have either put in or turned up some kind of spam filtering before the email even gets to users inboxes.

Not usre why yet but all emails from here get bounced.

My ISP said 'don't use hotmail accounts'. Thanks

My ISP has come through and they seem to have fixed the problem.

I've sent some test messages and everything seems back to normal.

Its not something soft like the security software seeing the .com as a bit dodgy?

Micro$oft have changed their security policies.

They now have spam/junk filters on their email gateways that stop emails even getting to the mailboxes.

There was a problem with these filters stopping all mail from the Fasthosts mail clusters going to Hotmail.com

Fasthosts (my ISP) contacted hotmail and on the second attempt the problem was resolved, hopefully permanently.
