View Full Version : Feedback required please.
I have enabled a new style, it's available in the style chooser. (bottom of every page)
The only differences are the way it displays threads.
I've removed a lot of the extra bits of info that don't really help in the thread.
Have a look and let me know what you think.

You get a gold medal simply for giving us a home Slopp. Seriously.

Although I realise that's not the kind of feedback you probably wanted, style-wise. It all seems a bit whiter, lighter and easier to read, but that could be me clicking the wrong/right buttons, or a virus on this here 'puter.

Thumbs up from me, comments about additional navigation frame stand, but you know that :)

As a board pedant, I like to see that Black is described as a 'Style' and not a colour in that section.
(or should that be 'bored' pedant?)
Thanks,
I'll be working on it some more over the weekend.
you do know that black isnt a colour
Brill, it's fantastic to actually hava a choice in the way you view it. :D
Personally I'll stick to the black/grey as I find it easier to read and not glaring but you've done a great job of catering to the masses (moaners).
Three cheers for Sloppy!!

Hard one to call - quite like seeing the avatars myself, but not the other stuff.
Well dne for giving us the choice.

Why not present the site entirely in XML and invite us to write our own XSLT and CSS files. Should be fun.... about as much fun as food poisoning actually.
That wasn't a serious suggestion by the way.

wot doc said, i quite like seeing the avatars...
on the whole its much betterer overall speedwise and layout - is it possible for all the posts to be on the same page rather than having to click on the next page etc ?
apart from that tiny niggle, the site is knockout !
You can change the number of thread displayed per page.
Go to 'User CP'
Then 'Edit Options'
Scroll down, and you'll find the option.
You can set it to 999, There will be very few threads that ever go over that.

although I like that you have retained some user choice.
You will never please everyone (especially if you include Archie) but this must be pretty damned close to it by now.
