Pork is known for being susceptible to parasitic infestation - that's why it's banned by certain religions centred in warm countries.

Believe it or not, if you google "Crazy uses for coca cola" you get a list of weird and wonderful applications - including marinade.

So, although it isn't impossible, it has more to do with the quality of the meat than the effects of the coke.
