i to have to go into work 06.00 start (shudder!!) do a bit, then around 8 ish nip Trailer over to let them do float...back to work finish off... have bite to eat.. back over to pick float up around 10.30... ready for the off..

i'll try and blag some photos..

well... the rain started at 07.45 and stopped around 12.30.. at one point i thought they would stop the event... the west park was water logged and the floats were diverted to a road adjacent to the park.. where i took the 2 photos.... i must say the weather was rotten.. but the public came out in the hundreds so it wasn't a total disaster!

Just looked at the piccies.. the float looked very pretty... and at least it was covered so one hell of a lot drier that an open top lorry !
