I wish i didn't have to go to work today.. I'm far to excited to concentrate !!!

I'm a first timer and I'm excited , and I don't even know what the hell I've let myself in for!... Any recommendations as to what sort of gear is best to wear?

Gear, yes. It's always a good idea to have some gear.

Fashions exhibited last year included Jeans/Leathers, T-shirt/Leathers depending on the weather but boots, gloves and helmets are obligatory.

And some pink overalls.

I guess as long as the ground is soft enough to bounce should be okay!

first of all, welcome to Sparky Slider.

As Noodle said, boots gloves and helmet are compulsory.

After that it's up to you, but we recommend you wear something that will protect you when you fall of - and you will fall off, everybody does.

The only time the ground is soft is a) when there's 6 inches of mud or b) your watching somebody else fall off.

It's rained a bit in Brum today, but not enough to make it muddy.
