Excellent stuff sir! Now then, to the crux of the matter - how many nectar points did you receive for it?
I disagree that one shouldn't talk of one's First Life, I think you should bring out a book on it !!! That was amusing, sensitive and laced with charm and affection.... Not a tick box or funding-criteria involved and the job got done twice as well as it would now ! Get writing your 'Confessions of an Ad-man' right now you knuckle-dragger.....
My dear Geezer. Merry Christmas to you and Julie and the kids. Copy of the Columbian caper on it's way to you. Your post-wedding curry ? Must be shome mishtake. I never eat Indian food. Nor do I ever mention my Test cricket career in public. Yours aye, Archie
David, as ever your word-stringing-together ability is beyond reproach....in stark contrast to your behaviour in public. I still remember how upset my friends were at my post wedding curry when you insisted on telling them you were an ex-England test player. To slightly miss-quote Griff Rhys Jones, you need to be careful Kate doesn't get charged with being in possession of an offensive husband... although I believe you'd still manage to find the humour in seeing her lovely face disappearing into the night peering from the back window of a black maria...as they were called when you were a lad. When can i get a copy of that Columbia caper you mentioned?
No, i couldn't. xx
Ok. Old man compares old life with current life. That better ?
This is excellent stuff, I should sit down and write some bloggy stuff too. I just wouldn't know where to start, I don't suppose you could................?
I'm not reading all that, can you summarise it for me?
