well work permitting i have set about the strip down of the GT one set back after the other, TBH i had no idea how much the bike was in bad shape!!

i now have to totally strip down to the last nut & bolt..

it's clear to me now that it's not just a matter of stripping and cleaning..

have found that most parts are in need of replacing and at best repairing!!

I've put some photos up to show you if you are interested..

all i can say if you intend to restore a old clasick it's going to cost you time and money... i do like a challenge :)

Hay!!! RonnI.... let's not forget the good old US of A they have a good few parts to... come to think of it they have most of them.. fact!! brand new stuff :)

Ha Ha Ha.... i kinda wish that sentiment was true Mand!!! :)

BUT!!!! have found new ways of getting in the Myer.. (crapper)

gorra face the music this morning... only gone and ripped the large roller shutter off the wall of the warehouse last night!!!!

some imbecile left a large gas bottle under the line wear the shutter comes down.. and in the darkness i lowered the shutter down on top of it :eek:

with all the work force complaining of the cold... I'm going to be has welcome as the "belgrano" was... and we all know what happened to that!!!!

I've a felling it's gunner be a long day....:)
