the north york's plod are after you... on your bikes that is.. me bro has just been nicked for speeding.. bare in mind he's in his 70's... and not a hooligan..;)

was on a clear open road 60 MPH nation speed limit road.. the plod was hiding with a gun type thing.. got pulled 1/2 mile up road... got £60 + 3 points instant fine....

me bro asked where the speed trap was.... the plod said down that way a bit..

so me bro said.. "yer! bloody hiding.. shouldn't be allowed"

the plod would not say where the bugger was hiding though..

take care around the York's area..:radar:

As I understand it, hiding is not allowed.

don't think it's the police Mikey... it's the likes of "Brunstorm" (the twat) etc..

they are the ones behind this draconian new way of entrapment..

i don't blame the officers for doing what the higher up ladder are telling them what and how to do it..

but that said i do feel that we are becoming easy pray of late..:(

mr brunstone was a proper police officer once . the police have a very difficult job to do , behaveing like this only seves to allinate the very people the are PAID to protect and serv . this just makes there job even more difficult . i am not a criminal i dont do drugs and i dont steal .

i have been stopped 4 TIMES this year on my motorcycle fo no reason . the last time was at bassetts pole so they could check the size of my number plate , which is STANDARD size . they didn't even check if my bike had been stolen or was unroad worthy or my documents .

i now feel the police have distroyed my confidence in them , hopefuly there a some police on here who might think twice before harrasing law abideing people like us

sorry rant over

Mikey... Brunstorm is a bigot.. and last year i told him so on his blog..

after he said that bikers should be band from national parks etc..( you know out of the way roads which we love so well to ride on ) and you know each time he opens his mouth he digs a larger hole for him to fall in.... how can any one take a person who dresses up in gowns and prances around a tree (pagan)... and preach to normal folks how to behave... good god what a hypocrite!!!!

there you go mikey rant two...:)

That first bit boils my piss (c).

I also pay my bloody wages as well....and we don't 'alienate' the people, in most cases people are there own worst enemies.

Don't have a pop at plod when they turn up at meets such as bassets or Box, we get SENT there because local residents complain of the stupid speeds and stunts pulled on the roads to and from these meets.

We don't do anything and we get complained about, so we go and start policing and we still get complained about.

If your road legal you have nothing to fear, if your peed off getting tugged all the time complain officially WITH PROOF of your 'harrassment' and something will be done about it..

otherwise stop whinging.

I've been stopped 4 times out of Box hill, two of those occasions earnt me tickets.....MY FAULT 1: illegal visor 2: illegal exhaust

but i CHOSE to go to a meet that is heavily policed with a bike that was not 'strictly' legal.

I also don't mind being pulled if i'm legal.....a 'Roads policing' patrol is EXPECTED to do this, it is it's primary role, not burglars or rapists or murderers as that is the role of the specialist department CID who specialise in these crimes whereby Roads Policing dept specialise in TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT and EDUCATION.

now, here's your 2p.....that's roughly what you 'paid' for me today, so i can take a day off and go out on my bike...

and if i get pulled, i won't WHINGE, honest.

it's a fair cop.

the police should only pull people if they has good reason to , not cause they feel like it . i was doining nothing wrong at all . my bike my visor is perfectly road leagle and i was not speeding , the officer was not told to pull me over it was his CHOICE TOO .

as far a complaing whats point ? i have no faith anymore in them they seem to think they can do as they want . just listern to mr Brustone , if he was the best man for the job , what are the rest like ?

as far as locals complaing you will allways get one who dose whastever you do and its easier to chace someone with a number plate on there bike

as far as stupid speeds and stunts why dont you just target them ? not everyone.

why am i bothered about been pulled if i am legal ? because this is NOT a ploice state and suposedly a free country

Hay Mikey... Hold on feller.. i was not bitching about WHY me brother got a pull.. it was the method in which he was court!!

using underhanded tactics.. and the like

all the post was about is to warn other bikers in the York's area to be careful
as the Yorkshire police are after you legal or otherwise..

same as pork told me to be careful in north wales... as Brunstorms lot are doing the same thing.. ANTI-BIKE CAMPAINE !!!!

Pork is ace and has helped many people on here with legal questions and advice. He has also shared some of his riding skills with some of us via Porkraft. I for one improved my riding dramatically after that.

I think there are far to many bikers on the road who warrant being stopped for either stupid riding or having an illegal bike/kit. It does not really surprise me that they pull bikers over for no reason.

I think you are just unlucky to have been stopped so many times Mike.

You need to brush up on law fella.

Police do NOT require a 'reason' to stop you.

We are permitted to stop ANY motorist in order to check documentation.

so that alone is all needed.

Of course i forget that once i get home and hang up my jack boots and the Fisher Price 'How to stitch the Public up' volume 4.

I'm bored now.
